The Raffle

Thank you for considering joining the raffle. All of the money goes towards team gear and our end-of-season banquet. If you would like to donate directly to the team without joining the raffle, click the link below. Otherwise, all the raffle information is below. Good Luck! 

All Raffle Info:

  • The Raffle will be open from January 1st to January 30th, after that, all money we receive will be recognized as donations to the team

  • ​The winners of the raffle will be announced through email on February 5th.

  • Every Ticket ($10) bought gives you the chance to win time with a captain and an aspiring captain, and maybe pick up some tips along the way

    • You can bring up to 3 people

  • Ensure that all information in the form below is filled out for a chance to win.

  • Ensure before joining the raffle that you can find a date and time that works for both you and us (See Prize of The Raffle for the times we cannot do)

  • Confirm that your skier has the ability to get on a ski lift by themselves and understand how to make simple turns.

  • All money we make goes directly to the team, where we can fund team gear, our end of the year banquet, and much more

Prize of the Raffle:

  • The winners of the Raffle will receive an  email from gonkskiracing@gmail.com on February 5th, 2026

  • You will win a quality ski experience from one of the captains of the Algonquin Regional High School Alpine Team

  • It will be held on Ski Ward Ski Area​

  • The length of the time is 1.5 hours

  • ​The winners will be assigned a captain and an aspiring captain who they will be in communication with.

  • You are able to pick the date and time when this occurs as long as it works with the captains

    • Keep in mind, our team has practices 3:00-5:00 on Tuesdays, 4:00-7:00 on Wednesdays , 7:00-9:00 on Fridays, and races from 5:00-9:00 on Thursdays.

  • The captains that you will ski with are Reilly Silvia, Cara Leonard, and Dylan Steele. Find more information about them on the About Us page​

  • The captains can contact with ski patrol in the case of any medical emergency​, and will call your emergency number immediately after
